Xiaoying(Cynthia) Xu

I am now a Ph.D candidate in finance from College of Finance, Central University of Finance and Economics, China. I will be on the 2026-2027 jobmarket.

I do research in Behavioral Finance, Asset Pricing, Big Data, and Chinese Financial Markets. I am also interested in Development Economics, Gender Issues, and Political Economics. .

My fiancé is a Ph.d candidate in economics from Tsinghua University, focusing on fields related to political economy and macroeconomics. He will also be on the 2026-2027 academic jobmarket: Zanhui Liu.
